August of this year I was fortunate to visit the Great Bear
Rain Forest, located in coastal British Columbia, home of
the very rare Spirit Bear. Even more fortunate I was not
only able to see one, but was able to get some decent images.
The Spirit Bear, also known as Ghost Bear or Kermode Bear,
is a white black bear and thought by the peoples of the
First Nations to be left from thousands of years ago to
remind us of a time when all their lands were covered with
ice and snow.
